Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Welcome to the tenth edition of #FirebaserFriday!
We’re thrilled to wrap up the Firebaser Friday series by introducing you to one of our newer members of the Firebase team, Marina Coelho! You may have seen some of Marina’s work on the Firebase blog highlighting how to build an Android app using Jetpack Compose, her content on how Firebase projects and apps work from the Firebase YouTube channel, and much more. Learn more about Marina below!
What are you working on now?
One of the things I’m working on right now is a series of articles for the Firebase blog on how to build an Android app using Compose for the UI and some Firebase products like Firestore, Crashlytics and Firebase Authentication. I love learning new things, so I’m enjoying figuring out how to combine Firebase and Compose! Speaking of learning new things, I’m also studying iOS development and I’m super excited about it!
What’s your favorite Firebase memory?
One of my favorite memories so far was the day my plush Sparky arrived. It’s the cutest thing in the world and I didn’t stop hugging it for about 5 minutes. Now I work with him sitting at my desk every day!
What are you listening to right now?
If you put on my headphones at any time, you will probably listen to some music by the band Bring Me The Horizon. If I’m not listening to this, I’m probably listening to something calmer, like Ed Sheeran, Frank Ocean, or John Mayer.
What’s a book / movie / TV show that you think more people should see?
I think everyone should read ‘The Little Prince’ – more than once. I’ve read this book 3 times during different moments of my life, and I always learn something new. I really like how the author uses metaphors to talk about such important subjects, like love and respect.
Where can we find your work?
You can find me on Twitter [here](https://twitter.com/coelho_dev).
